Summary: Damn it, he knew he should've taken their manager up on those vitamin C supplements...
a/n: Someone punch me in the face if I post any more drabbles before I finish one of the longer fics I've been "working on" for months now, please. ㅠㅠ
"Hey, Baekhyun, why are you still asleep? Get up, get up! Let's go!"
Baekhyun barely opened his eyes before he screwed them shut again with a groan, burying his face in his pillow. He was fairly positive Chanyeol's grin had just blinded him. His head was pounding, and his whole body felt achy and uncomfortable, but somewhere under his growing headache was a vague recollection of no schedules today. That said, getting up was about the last thing he wanted to do.
"Leave me alone," he grumbled, shoving at Chanyeol who had flopped down on top of him, as usual. Normally Baekhyun didn't mind. In fact, normally Baekhyun was a morning person and was the first one up (so he could primp in the bathroom for as long as possible, Chanyeol would tease), but his throat was scratchy and his nose was so stuffed up he could barely breathe. Damn it, he knew he should've taken their manager up on those vitamin C supplements...
"But Baekhyunnnn," Chanyeol pouted, prodding his cheek with a fingertip until Baekhyun cracked one eye open, "you said we could go play today! I want to make a leaf fort and eat hot pot!"
"Don't want to." Baekhyun closed his eyes resolutely and pulled his blankets up to his chin. "I don't feel good...I think I'm sick."
"Really??" Chanyeol sounded completely alarmed. He checked Baekhyun's temperature with his hand (which wasn't an accurate way to go about that, but whatever) and pursed his lips worriedly. "You do feel kind of hot...yeah, you don't look so good."
"Thanks." That was about all the sarcasm he could muster. His throat really hurt. He shot Chanyeol a glare to make up for it.
"You know that's not what I meant," Chanyeol laughed, and he clapped Baekhyun on the shoulder. His face got serious again, though, and he shifted closer on the mattress. "You're really sick, though? Should I call the manager?"
Baekhyun shook his head and nestled further into his blankets. "It's fine, it's fine. We have today off, anyway. I'm just going to rest." He sniffled and wiped his nose on the back of his hand a little miserably. "You should probably get out of here. Don't want you to catch it."
Chanyeol only looked at him for a long moment, and Baekhyun wondered for a second if he had fallen asleep with his eyes open again -- but then he leaned in fast and caught his mouth in a kiss. Baekhyun was too startled to protest, and it was so quick, so light, but definite. "Don't care." And Chanyeol grinned that twitchy grin as he got to his feet, almost smug as he declared, "I have your germs now. We'll share it."
And then he was gone, shouting something about finding him some stew or soup or something, and Baekhyun groaned up at the ceiling. "Idiot."
But, when he rolled back over to try and drift back to sleep, he was smiling.
